“This project is also a win for workers in our hospitality and tourism industry, with positive flow on effects for other local businesses such as tour operators, and is another feather in the cap of the Darwin Waterfront area.”

Middle Arm Social Club is getting together the first and 3rd Thursday of every month from 5 pm at Wharf One.

Next date:  May 23rd

Subject:  Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct
  1. Introduction to the project
  2. Darwin Harbour – opportunities and costs
What is the MASC – it is a forum through which tourism operators can come together in an informal capacity to discuss industry opportunities and opportunity costs of activities that have the capacity to influence the tourism space in the Top End and thereby tourism operators.  Over the course of the evening, set subject matters will be up for discussion and input with guest speakers invited to present as well as guests on the day.  Members of the general community are also welcome to attend.  There is no cost to be part of this and no obligations.  The idea is to inform, learn and grow sustainable tourism in the NT.  This initiative is focused on bringing people and business together to operate and function in the ‘space between’.
