Submit Your Cyclone Tracy Commemoration Event
As we approach the 50th anniversary of Cyclone Tracy, we’re seeing increased interest from visitors and locals alike who are eager to attend the commemoration events. Many are already planning their travel and accommodation around what’s on offer, so now is the time to ensure your event is included in the official program.

Ubirr Wet Season: Access Permit

Kakadu National Park is now accepting permit applications for Ubirr wet season access.

Permit application packs are being sent out via email to all current land-based commercial operators. Applications can be downloaded by visiting the link below.

With a valid wet season permit and key, operators can access the stunning Ubirr art site between 8:30 am and sunset from 1 December to 31 March.

Ubirr will open to the general public from 2:00 pm to sunset during this period, subject to seasonal conditions.

Million Dollar Fish: 10th Lucky Angler Reels in $10k Barra

Darwin resident Mark Parkinson has caught the tenth $10,000 red-tagged barramundi of Million Dollar Fish Season 10, making it a thrilling week for the competition.

Mark’s catch is the 10th fish to be caught in just over a week. It follows what has been a huge Season 10 opening week for $10,000 winning catches. There are now 89 barramundi with $10,000 tags and 10 fish with a tag worth one million dollars.
